A second generation Sprint Car racer, Brad Aumen started racing in Hornets at Western Speedway in the early 2010’s. After winning the track championship in 2015, Aumen would move to running Bombers, scoring another track championship in 2016. In 2017 Aumen would begin his Sprint Car racing career with the WILROC Non-Winged Sprint Cars, eventually scoring the Saratoga Speedway track championship.
In 2021 Aumen moved up into a Winged Sprint Car, scoring his first NSRA win at Saratoga Speedway during the inaugural Quinsam Communications Group Sprint Car Classic weekend. In 2022 Aumen would run the inaugural Northwest Sprint Tour season, scoring the win at Penticton Speedway and winning the championship in his rookie year. In 2023 Aumen finished third in Northwest Sprint Tour standings, with 2024 being a struggle for the Island Racemasters team.
In 2025 Aumen scored his first main event win since 2022 at Agassiz Speedway and finished the season third in Northwest Sprint Tour point standings.
