Bouncing back after a rough 2025 that saw a car-destroying crash at the Open Wheel Showdown, Darren Yates is back for his first full season with the NST. The two-time WILROC Winged Sprint Car champion and Victoria Auto Racing Hall of Fame inductee had some strong runs last year but was forced to sit out the majority of the season with engine issues.
Yates has also raced and won in everything from Demo Trucks at Western Speedway to IMCA Modifieds and will look to challenge for the top spot in his first year with the Northwest Sprint Tour.
