Heading into 2025 Jeff Montgomery and Rob Leighton Motorsports are set for their second season together. The veteran Sprint Car racer started running pavement Sprint Cars in the early 2000’s, scoring three straight WILROC Sprint Car championships from 2002 to 2004. Montgomery is also an NSRA Sprint Car champion, winning the 2006 title, and scored back-to-back WILROC Non-Winged Sprint Car championships in 2015 and 2016.
Montgomery is also a Victoria Auto Racing Hall of Fame inductee, earning the coveted honour in 2024 and is also the winningest driver in Daffodil Cup history at the now closed Western Speedway in Langford, British Columbia.
In 2025 Montgomery scored his first Northwest Sprint Tour main event win at Penticton Speedway and parlayed a consistent season into his first Northwest Sprint Tour championship.
