Evergreen Speedway will kick start the Pacific Northwest pavement Sprint Car Season May 10th with the inaugural Granite Construction Can/Am Shootout featuring the first ever visit by the Northwest Sprint Tour to the fast 3/8ths-of-a-mile oval.
The season opening Northwest Sprint Tour race will pay $7500 to the winner, making it one of the highest paying races of the year at Evergreen and cementing the race as one of the premiere pavement Sprint Car events on the West Coast. Competitors from throughout the Northwest including former Open Wheel Showdown winner and defending Granite Cup champion Aaron Willison, former NSRA champion Jeff Montgomery, 2023 Pink Lady Classic champion Evan Margeson and more are expected to be in attendance as well as a full roster of Northwest Sprint Tour regulars.
The Northwest Sprint Tour is the Northwest’s premiere pavement Sprint Car sanctioning body. Featuring nine race nights at five different race tracks throughout the Pacific Northwest, the Northwest Sprint Tour is in its fourth season of bringing race fans the best pavement Sprint Car racing on the West Coast.
